A very happy birthday to Frank Perconte, the oldest living member of Easy Company. He’s celebrating his 96th birthday today!

YES, THIS. I love that this guy is still alive. Band of Brothers is one of the best portrayals (in my opinion anyway) of what happened during WWII when our brave guys were in the war. Should be required watching for history classes. 

According to the SAT prep vocab book I’m using with my sophomores, the root word “cas” means “to fall or die.”
